Join us for the **2026 Hill Country Vet-Fest** on Saturday, November 7, from 10 AM to 8 PM at Marktplatz in downtown Fredericksburg! This family-friendly event features live music, food, drinks, games, raffles, local vendors, and fun for all ages. Proceeds benefit **Meals for Vets**, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing nutritious meals to Veterans and their families facing financial hardship throughout Texas. Come enjoy a great day while supporting those who served!

Help the City of Fredericksburg ring in the New Year! This family-friendly event will feature moonwalks and inflatables, games, activities, music, dance performances, face painting, and more! Food & beverages available for sale. At 6:30 p.m., the ball will drop and signify the beginning of 2027!

This race highlights the natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country with a route designed for runners who crave adventure without venturing too far from town. Well-supported, serene, and inspiring, Wanderlust offers the kind of atmosphere that reminds you why you started running in the first place.

We’ll have a 13.1 half marathon, 10k and 5k. We’ll start at the Marktplatz (Market Square) in the heart of Fredericksburg. Half marathon runners will run to the famous Crabapple Road, which has great views and rolling hills in one large loop. Participants will return there, and be close to restaurants, clubs, shopping, wine, beer and German-style hospitality.
We will also have a Costume CONTEST! Release your inner hippie and bring back the funky. We encourage everyone to dress up and have fun!
Every one of our races support a local non-profit to improve and spread awareness on noble causes and to help those in need. For Wanderlust we support the Texas Roundup Animal Alliance.

The Annual Jaycees’ Fredericksburg Crawfish Festival returns to Downtown Marktplatz, Fredericksburg, Texas, Memorial Day Weekend, May 28-30, 2027. The Festival will feature activities for the whole family including lots of great Cajun food, live music, shopping, and fun for the young and young at heart!
